SOAK/HELP: Strange guide data issue-shows in live, not in search

So I move my HDVR2 from one physical location in my home to another. As part of the move, it appears one of the sats wasn't feeding properly at first (that feeds locals/channels 1-99). Get it fixed and both tuners work, all channels display.

However, I go in to To Do and a bunch of stuff is missing. All my daily local news SPs, American Idol, all gone. History says reason is "no longer in the guide."

Go and search by name and sure enough, they aren't in the guide data. However, use "live TV guide" and the shows appear and I'm able to set recordings.

What gives? First noticed last night and thought the device maybe had to reindex or such, but still see the issue this a.m. Forced a call and rearranged SPs to no avail.

Any thoughts?

Edit: all appropriate channels are checked in "channels I receive"

The Guide data is received via satellite around 2 am and then it takes up to a few hours to index the data. If everything is working properly, I'd leave the Tivo alone for 24 hours and it should fix itself.

Right! It could take a day for all guide data to be indexed so that the search function works.

You may need to do a restart to force it to re-index if it isn't doing it now.

Thanks. I did force a restart before I left for work this a.m. Hopefully it will repair and it's not indication of a failing drive or anything of the sort....
