Weird experience!!

When the tivos were rebooting way back when I never had a problem gettig the s-p-s-3-0-s to activate my 30 second skip and fast bar dissapear s-p-s-pause-s to get the three bongs. The spsps code always gave me difficulty usualy had to do the code 2 or 3 times before bong bong bong.

I re did my entertainment system earlier(Tivo down from power) and after i re hooked up went to do the codes on a recorded show playing like usual and did the codes over and over like 6 times. Nothing. I tried it on live tv and super quick including the fast bar dissapear.(which never in years went in so fast on the first shot)

You won't hear the bongs if you are using the digital output.

You won't hear the bongs if you are using the digital output.If you are using digital outputs and the program is in Dolby Digital. If it is just regular PCM digital then you will here them.

You won't hear the bongs if you are using the digital output.Not using digital out. I heard the bongs after i tried the codes on live but i actualy was not accepting the codes on a recorded playing show. It worked only on live tv which i never tried before. For like 4 years now i always did the codes while a recorded show was playing. Now it did not work untill i tried the codes on live.
