I was waiting for Randal to stand up and remind Mr. Trump that this is the Apprentice, and not the Apprentii, in case he might have had any ideas about hiring both.

Anyone else catch that guy in Nicole's family acting all gangster towards Trump after he fired her? :D

What has changed with Stefani's face? Wife and I couldn't figure it out.... finally we decided that she's had a nosejob and she's still a bit swollen.

What an incredibly sucky finale, quite possibly that was the worst 20 minutes of TV I have ever voluntarily watched.

Easy choice, it was time for another girl. Trump basically hired an attorney that does work for firms like trumps all the time. She was driving around in her $70K Lexus and James was driving his $50K Mercedes. Twosomes doing a commercial for an air freshner as a final task, that was weak and burnett should do better than that crap??? Then they follow it up with a pitiful finale.

I get the feeling that there would have been a "normal" type final task, but the season got cut short.

I did notice the gangsta reaction and just thought, Puh-lease. Bleh-glad it's over.

As for Stephani, my untrained eye just thought she had a hair-style that framed her face (and was much darker) where she wore it back on her shoulders more during the season.

The finale was indicative of how awful this season was. I won't be watching again. BTW, these people do not need Trump. Goes to show you they're just spotlight hungry!

steph lost weight and nic's hair..ugh. I dont like typical business styles but thought it would have looked better even as one of them.

WHY was steph looking at the monitor ever 5 seconds? and that's only the part we saw. hasn't she lived in a house with cameras for '13 weeks' as frank put it? It just looked so lame her looking up. If i was DT i would have said what are you looking at?

who/why did they pick that venue? Was it raining? or just smoke in the lights? Outside just seems so unboardroom like.

my wife wondered does he pick people without attachments? Which other apprenti did/didnt have spouse kids etc?

Jim sure did brown nose the correct way, yet not get picked. And what was DT talking about at the very end that james said wrong?

Fantastic, the winner never once served as the Project Manager. That's a horrible trend to set. Why would anyone "step up" to be the PM now? Heidi was only a "star" during her winning streak. Once she lost later in the game, she was gone. Not acting as the PM sheilds you, and I don't know why James didn't bring it up much. Of course, the finale of this show is always horrible, because rarely do we see any arguing, like normal boardrooms. I think Trump had his mind made up already, and they just used the hour to do recaps, and get non-answers to questions from the already-eliminated people. I could have fast forwarded through most of this.

It was raining last night. I saw a few umbrellas. The spotlights illuminated the rain a couple of times. They probably couldn't have changed the venue at the last minute when there was rain in the forecast. That'll teach them to have the finale outdoors.

I would have asked the question as well with her staring at the big TV monitor every five seconds.

I skipped the last couple seasons of the show. This season I think the biggest draw was the gimmick of the losers "staying in tents". It worked fairly well. I continued watching at least. It seems, though, the only decent reality show left is The Amazing Race (IMO).

It's unfortunate that they didn't do a "traditional" mega-task like the first few seasons. Those were interesting to watch. It definitely gave you an idea of how the contestant would react in a "real" high-pressure situation.

If they have more seasons of this show, I do want them to stay in Los Angeles. The tasks need to be much more challenging though. Really make every team member work hard for the win. Some of these tasks were way too easy in comparison to previous seasons. I'd like to see another Book Smarts vs. Street Smarts season. It doesn't take a degree from Harvard to be successful. Michael Dell (and several others) proves that.

I have a question... why would any of these successful people (6 figure incomes, owning own companies, prestigious positions) want to leave that and go work for Trump? I mean are you really going to learn that much? Not like you are following him around 24/7 tapping into his mind. Or do these people just want to be in the spotlite that badly?

I always thought the idea of the Apprentice was to get people discovered and let them prove themselves. People might have a good education and lots of business smarts but just haven't landed that big job yet and this show was a way for them to do that.

I felt like I wasted 14 hours of my life.

This one bombed, and I hope they don't do it again.

I'm disappointed in the results, but I guess it was the year of the woman so they couldn't choose Frank or James. Nicole was stuck in an interoffice romance so she was out. So that left Stefani. I kinda suspected from the start of the finale that she would win. BUt I wasn't sure.

I wanted James to win.

Oh well, hopefully next year they come back to NYC.

During the show they showed an actual commercial for the Renuzit product. A woman walking through a house talking about how it gets rid of smoke, pet, and bathroom odors. She walks up to a door, opens it, and in the bathroom is a dog sitting on the toilet reading the newspaper, a cigar in the ashtray beside him. Stupid. The only funny thing was the end of the commercial when the dog comes out of the bathroom, he has toilet paper stuck to one paw.

It was only marginally better than the two teams' commercials.

Congrats to Stefani, I figured it would be her or James, both were very good on ths show, as was Nicole. I actually think Surya should have been the Apprentice (by far) but that's ok.

As for the show, they definitely need to go back to New York, get rid of the gimmick tents, have better BUSINESS tasks, and bring George and Carolyn back to the boardroom.

As far as the romance thing, DT was lame to even say that. Can he say that not a single person in his organization isnt doing the same thing under his nose

GREAT to see Geo again! Wonder why they didnt razz carole? :)

Although I somewhat like the PM having the chance to remain PM, this is one of the consequences. With James winning so much, Stephanie didn't have too many opportunities to become PM (but she could have stepped up a couple of times.) James should have forced the issue more in the Boardroom. When Trump was firing James he mention some about comments that James made that he (Trump) didn't like. Anybody know what that is about.

When all is said and down, glad this season is over. It was a train wreck from the start. The final was an awful end to awful season. At least most Finals they can show the end of the final task, but with no real final task, they had to fill an hour. And Donald could not host a show if his life depended on it.

I think Trump getting rid of Caroline was his undoing. George and Caroline were better liked than Trump. Caroline began a talk show circuit and Donald got mad she wasn't working JUST for him anymore. (She ran the golf courses) If Donald had sense, he would have replaced her in the Golf division and made her special assistant to, guess what, producing the Apprentice. Her good PR would have helped him then on the talk shows and appearances.

I have a REAL good question for Donald, if you like everything in such luxury, why didn't you film the Apprentice in HD? Proof of stupidity.

Why do I get the feeling that NBC didn't want this ratings train wreck anywhere near May Sweeps and the final task was kiboshed? It seemed like this season came up 2 or 3 weeks shorter than previous seasons which normally finished during the second or third week of Sweeps.

James may have said to Stefani something like that he never intended to go through with it were he hired as the apprentice (hence such tight and loyal team between the two) and he's just in it for the fame, and the conversation was caught on a hidden camera. After all, how could he be away as the founder CEO of his own internet start-up for an extended period of time, that'll kill the company in no time. My two cents.

IMO, it makes no sense to get Frank and Nicole's families all excited on the finale for 15 minutes when DT already knew that they're the ones to go right away. Not so professional!

Overall a very weak closing.

Because he doesn't really run the show. It's a Mark Burnett production, whose other show, Survivor, also should be, but isn't in HD.

This outcome had to be one of the biggest foregone conclusions I've ever seen. I've known for weeks that nobody other than Stephani was going to win this thing.

Not that I should be analyzing this piece of dog poop that much, but how did you come to that conclusing? She was the Sandra of Apprenctice (Spoiler is the winner of Survivor:Pearl Islands.) She had never been a PM and never particularly stood out inside the boardroom. Up until three weeks ago, I would have put the final two at James & Hiedi. They were the ones that stood out the most and had the best records as PM. I am still shocked that Donald fired Heidi!

Well, if I had been wrong, I never could have said that, but I was just personally convinced that she was the most mature, level headed, professional person in the group. Despite not actually being a PM, I was impressed with how she handled everything, was never rattled, didn't get caught up in any drama, calm, cool, collected, never a slip up...she practically seemed like an adult amongst kids to me.

I really just felt sure that she would win. Or at the very least, if it was my interview, I'd have hired her.

Nah, he was 2nd place, so he was right where he belonged. I mean, if you want to go that route, it was really pointless to have a finale at all, since he knew he was hiring Stephani. But it was to create "suspense" for the viewers, and get people to watch. Torturing James had nothing to do with anything.

I agree with hefe. The minute the Trumpmeister fired Heidi and Christine, the only one left with any class was Stephanie. Having said that, I wasn't so sure then that he'd choose her, based on his blindness to class/talent in the past.

When they showed the videos of James and Steph though, it was an easy conclusion that he'd hire Steph due to her single status. After the comment to Nicole about not loving anyone more than his employees love him, it was obvious that a devoted family-man wasn't going to win it. I was happy to see Stephanie win of the contestants remaining...she will represent the company much better than the others would have.

I think this is the last season of The Apprentice. At the end of this execrable finale, The Donald smiled to the camera and said, "See you soon!", then gave the thumbs up.

In previous seasons, they have promoted the upcoming season relentlessly.

So I think they already know there won't be another season.

Which is fine with me. I can't take this crap any more.
