Surprised theres no thread on this. Good episode.

One thing struck me while watching. Norm MacDonald and Will Ferrell are both SNL alums. They both kinda play the same character over and over (or really don't have much of a range). The cardinal difference is that (by and large) I like Norm, but don't really like Will.

Good to see Catalina back and bouncing. :D

Too much Norm, and not enough Turd Ferguson.

I didn't laugh once at this episode. I thought it was possibly the worst episode ever. And I think Norm is hilarious.

I loved this episode. I thought Norm had the Bert Reynolds imitation down to a T. And the look on Earl's and Randy's faces when they first saw Jr.'s nads was priceless. Also, Crabman's "I could get used to living like this again". Good episode.

Its good to see they have brought Catalina back in full force. They should model a spinoff of her in nothing but bikini's at the pool. :p

Definitely some uncomfortable viewing moments...but also very funny.
Good to see that Catalina's jiggling is in top form.

Did I miss something... was Wil Ferrell in this episode?

I was just surprised to see a nice house in Camden County. I thought the whole place must be white-trashville.

I do believe I recall Norm MacDonald doing a Burt Reynolds imitation on SNL years ago...something along the lines of actors who had originally auditioned for Star Wars but didn't make it. I seem to recall Norm doing Burt Reynolds doing a Star Wars screen test. His mannerisms in this episode as Little Chubby were just like that old skit, to me.

And here's something I've always wondered.

Clearly, Catalina's boobs are fake. How does a girl from a small, poor village in Mexico get the money for implants?

Heck, for that matter, how did Joy?

Really? Then why are they so small?

I loved this episode. When they introed Norm I thought, "wow, I haven't seen him in a while!" Then I remembered his old Burt impersonation from SNL. Man, that was delicious!

Great episode!

On the laughter alert scale, it was "brorange!"

He also played a doctor in the recent "The Riches" episode.

Maybe he went straight from the Earl shoot to the Riches shoot without changing costume.

Will wasn't in this episode, I just consider Will and Norm somewhat similar as comedic actors.

"brorange" <- brown + orange.

Jump around, jump around! I don't know if Catalina's boobs are fake or not. And I don't care! They're awesome.

Greg  I think I will be busy for a while trying to figure how to stuff dollars into my network connection.

- and yes Norm is not a versatile actor but man does he look like a Burt son with the costume on. I laughed a good bit in this episode but not out loud like in some others.

and the perplexing overall arc of the show goes deeper with the new subtle clue of Crabman's old life. ;)

Is there any back story on why they switched from Burt/Chubby to Norm/LittleChubby? Was Burt unavailable? Did Burt want more money? I doubt Norm was doing much, and I'm trilled to see him on TV again, but it seems odd to go from a near-legend like Burt Reynolds to, well, Norm Macdonald.

the story is that Burt/Chubby went to get some Vodka but blew his head off instead. No idea on why they wrote Burt out like that.

You must be seeing different boobs than I because they look real and fantastic! I think if she went fake, she'd go bigger than big B/little C.

He also played Burt in several Jeopardy skits. Some of those are hilarious.

Randy pole dancing was quite funny, especially at the end, with him picking up the dollars left on the edge of the stage.

My impression is that McDonald is primarily a stand-up and writer who 'acts' a little, and Ferrell is an actor - PLEASE see 'Stranger Than Fiction' for evidence of Ferrell's ability to stretch.

Funny episode, and I like them pushing the line the way they do.

Will do. Don't know if it will change my opinion on Ferrell, but it looked like a good movie.

I have never been a big Ferrell fan however I did enjoy Stranger Than Fiction. recommend it even if you don't normally like Ferrell movies.
