I actually enjoyed this episode-the first in a while. I laughed out loud at Ted's "OH yeah! Suck it bitch!"
Ted's very much becoming my favorite character on this show.
Kind of weird, though-not much JD.

I did, however, LOVE the bit where we see JD's fantasy from somebody else's point of view!

For some reason (expect an S3 thread soon on this), my HD channels were tuning to random basic cable channels last night until I rebooted. At first I thought it was a ploy by charter because NBC was tuned to a channel showing public hearings on a cable competition bill from 3 weeks ago. But other channels were also off.
As such, I missed this. If anyone knows where I can obtain this episode, please PM me. I checked what I thought were the usual sites but they seem to lack scrubs.

Hence the title "Their Story". :)
Every episode title starts with "My" ("me" being JD) except for a small handful that are called "His Story", "Her Story", "His Story II", etc... where after an initial intro, the voiceovers and the POV of the episode are someone other than JD (Cox, Elliot, Turk).

I've been able to get missed episodes of stuff in the past, by installing uTorrent, and downloading a bitTorrent file for the episode. I've always had trouble searching the bittorrents for a specific ep, but other people here normally are able to point me to the file to download.

For some reason, I keep thinking of:
Susan: You get to be the baby's father. Everyone knows who you are. Who am I? There's Father's Day, there's Mother's Day, there's no... Lesbian Lover Day!
Ross: Every day is Lesbian Lover Day!
Every day is JD day...

Right, I got that. I was just saying an episode without much JD was really different. :)

I thought this was another "meh" episode in a fairly forgettable season. The supporting characters are funny, but there is a reason they are supporting. Ted especially is becoming as prominent as many of the regulars and for me he's just too one-note to be funny at that scale. (Not that he isn't funny in general, but his are largely the same two jokes over and over.) And it was kind of weird to see The Todd actually having some substance (read: intelligence) to him.

Did they show the back of JD head when Turk was talking to Todd at one point or was I just seeing things? Did they do that on purpose or was it just horrible editing?

Go to www.tvrss.net/shows and you'll be able to easily find the links to each episode in a very easy to find format.

I thought so, too. A moment later it was Todd, and I thought I must have been seeing things. But I didn't go back to check.

I liked a lot of this episode.
Why is Lloyd getting so much screen time?
(well beside being a writer.)

I don't know, but I really enjoy the Lloyd character. I laughed myself sick when he was on the stripper pole.

If Scrubs jumped the shark in Season 5, then it's unjumped since the episode "My Scrubs." I've loved them all since then.

I didn't like this episode and I lack the capacity to express myself creatively, so I'll just cut-and-paste a tired and hackneyed 30-year-old expression

AWESOME!
I've never been a big fan of the "jumped the shark" expression, and it's really old now. I get tired of reading the Scrubs threads every week, only to find somebody posting that Scrubs has JTS. Yeah, it's not the same show it used to be, but it's still funny. If you don't like it, quit watching it! I stopped watching ER 2 years ago, but I never once posted a message saying "ER has jumped the shark!"

I've always hated boards where the mods use cute word filters to make a point...but in this case, I might be willing to make an exception. Let's see...they could use "cuddle" for "jump" and "hamster" for "shark"..?

I vote for "the show has kissed Rob"...it can't get any worse than that!

Unbeknownst to me, my Series 1 tivo was secretly recording scrubs and 30 rock each week, so I managed to catch this on that old caveman device.
The Todd and Jordan(sp?) are a lot more fun than Ted. I really have never much cared for ted as a character. His best moments are in the barbershop quartet.

I have to disagree. Ted makes me laugh. It's a good character.
Although The Todd is right up there. I loved that they gave him more depth in this episode.

How awesome was it that Todd's son in his daydream was named Rod? It's like he intentionally gave his son a name to enable a lifetime of innuendos. :D
