Do you have a Windows machine, Linux machine, or a Macintosh? Just format them as you would any other harddrive. :rolleyes:

yes just use the install disk that came with the hard drives (or rather download from internet lol)

If using Win XP just connect it as a slave drive and then go into drive maintenance to reformat the drive. I'd run a drive diagnostic on the drive first to ensure that it is okay and to lock out any bad sectors.
