TCD2400040 HDD Upgrade

I've got a series 2 machine (TCD24004A) that was a monthly charge, I would like to take it's upgraded HDD, 186 hours and put it into my lifetimed TCD2400040.


Will the current HDD in the TCD 24004A work in the TCD2400040 without any changes to the drive or software? Thanks

Should work fine as a single drive after running a clear and delete everything then a new guided setup. There is no way to do this and preserve the recordings if that is important.

Start the clear and delete in your monthly 240 and then unplug the unit about 3 seconds after you see the gray screen, drop the drive into the Lifetime 240 and the drive will auto sync to you Lifetime unit, and leave you with the start guided setup screen.
