i recently canceled my tivo service, the one thing i really liked was the ability to view photos on my tv. since i canceled the media features are now gone from the menu. although i can still see my wireless connection. is there any way to get this feature working again?

Spend 30 plus box on a D*tivo box from Ebay, and zipper it up, it will allow you to see photos, stream music, and act as a media server for viewing shows, movies, etc via Tivoserver. Check out the underground section.

Do you have one of the DVD units with TiVo Basic? Or a regular TiVo? Because if it's the regular kind then she's going to be even more pissed in a few days. Because without service a TiVo is basically a boat anchor. It doesn't allow you to do anything except watch live TV.
