After over of year of enjoying the Significantly Viewed Channels (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=284249) I was entitled to from DirecTV, I just received a postcard notice that they are taking away WFMY 2 Greensboro (CBS) effective May 9 because they "no longer have the rights to bring" it to me.

How did this happen? Can SVC's change? Is it a dispute with WFMY? Or did my primary CBS local, WRAL 5 Raleigh, lodge some kind of protest?

There's no mention of the other SVC, WGHP 8 High Point, which seems much less significantly viewed to me, but.....

It really sucks because it means I'm going to once again be at the mercy of WRAL 5 Raleigh's hair-trigger censorship of the least little thing that they're afraid someone will complain to the FCC about. They run all CBS programming on a delay and mute out words that scare them.

You'll have to contact the two stations. Obviously one of them initiated this, forcing DirecTV to change its viewing area.
