Question about dual tuner models

Using a dual tuner model is it possible to have cable tv on one input and satellite tv on the other? I use a satellite receiver (fta) that I'm pretty sure would have to be record by date and time only. Thanks in advance for your input. :)

Yes. You can connect your analog Cable TV coax to the DT's first tuner. Then connect the satellite receiver using external AV input. Integrating your Tivo's Guide Data for both FTA satellite and your Cable TV could be challenging, though. And you won't be able to use both a Cable Box and your satellite receiver.
