What do I need ?

What do I need to be able to view HD broadcast's on my RSN'S such as Sportsnet NY, Yes, MSG etc IN HD ?
I currently have a HR10-250.
Will I have to get a new receiver and dish ?
How much will this cost me from DTV ?

I think the HD RSNs are now sent in MPEG4 which will require the 5LNB dish and a MPEG4 capable receiver (H20 or HR20). There have been several post concerning this.

As for the cost, you'll need to call DirecTV.

Yes, as Jim points out, you'll need a new Receiver (H20) or HD DVR (HR20) to receive the MPEG4 HD RSN channels, along with a 5-LNB dish. Call DirecTV .... they have some good deals for existing subscribers adding the new HiDef equipment to their accounts, including free dish installation.

Directv will do an equipment upgrade. Costs vary, but you can get it done for free.
