Best Deals to stay on DTV?

I have been a DTV subscriber since 1996 - I want to move to the eonderful world of HD. Comcast is making a very compelling argument for moving to them - they will give the tripple play package, VOD, HD DVR no install no contract if I jump ship.

Whats the best approach for DTV and customer retention - The new adds and the "promise" of large HD content is in thier favor at the moment.

Call and ask. Tell them about the offer and they will pu you through to retention. Don't settle for anything the first CSR offers - Retention has more room to manouver.

when you call and get the voice service thing, just say "cancel service" and you will get put right to retention
