Hey all,
I have a TCD540080 Series 2 (orig. 80GB) that I successfully upgraded to a 250GB hard drive....except when I look in the system information under "recording capacity," it says, "Variable - up to 142 hours."
Now from this upgrade site (this site won't let me post the link to it - digitalinsurrection), it says that my model does not have a 137GB hard drive limit.
Here is the command that I used to copy my 80GB to the 250GB in mfstools:
#mfsbackup -aqo - /dev/hdc | mfsrestore -xpi - /dev/hda
There were many recordings on the tivo too, so this number in system information isn't showing how much space is left, is it?
I'm wondering with the command I used, should I have a full 250GB capacity on a TCD540080 series 2 tivo?
