View Full Version : Where's the @ character?

I'd like to have season passes for my favorite teams' games -- but just the current games, not pre-game or post-game shows or highlights of a game from 1991.
It seems that they way they're in the channel guide, two season passes for each team should do it -- one for "Bulls @" and one for "@ Bulls," for example.
Ah, but the @ sign isn't among the characters that show up for building WishLists.
Is it hiding somewhere? Or is there another way to do what I'm trying to do?

The "@", along with a whole bunch of other symbols aren't there.
There have been many threads about setting up sporting event season passes and wishlists.
I think a few that have done it, will chime in shortly.:)

A single wishlist for "Bulls at" (without quotes) would match both words, regardless of word order. Is there really an @ symbol in your descriptions? That would be weird.
Better is to make a title wishlist for "Bulls" with category Sports/Sports Event.

All you ever wanted to know and much more. Special characters are covered in the middle somewhere.

The only special characters mentioned are the hyphen, quotation mark, and apostrophe. Use a space for the hyphen and the pause button to insert a quote. And for the apostrophe, eliminate it.

AT instead of @ works quite well. For example, I have a Title wishlist that's simply AT with a category of Sports/Football. This catches every football game, and filters out shows that just talk about football. I don't set it to auto-record, but it makes it a lot easier during NFL season to find all the games I want to watch.
For the example of the Bulls, ZikZak has it right. BULLS AT will catch all games.
