NBC Start Times

For some reason NBC had wierd start times on their shows today. I was watch my recording of Scrubs, and it didn't record the last five minutes.

RIght now the Tivo directory says My Name is Early starts aT 10:23, but the NBC website says it start at 10:29. .... So this would account to the difference, that NBC and the TIVO time directory don't match.

Think this is a one time thing or something I would have to adapt my recording to?

NBC was advertising this in advance as some kind of oversized episode Thursday. My Tivo caught Scrubs correctly, and I didn't miss any part of it. It could be your local station didn't put the times in correctly. Tivo has no control over that.

I can handle odd start/end times for show if they are listed in the guide. Most of the time the TiVo can handle it, except when it causes conflicts with other SPs. However, if they insist on doing it, then keep to the schedule. :(

I've gotten into the habit of checking the To Do List to see if a show is missing. For example, I noticed that the new Ghost Whisperer wasn't going to record because of a conflict with a Grey's Anatomy repeat. I've got to rethink my priorities and SP settings.
