So I'm using the Hinsdale instructions, and it sure would have been nice for them to mention BEFORE page 11 that if you have WinXP not to boot your Tivo drive to your PC.

I saw it too late, and pulled the drive before doing anything to it, and put it back in Tivo, and now I'm stuck at the "Welcome Powering Up" screen.

Is there ANYTHING I can try to salvage this?

Barring any fix, can someone point me to an image of a drive for a Toshiba SD-H400?

Thanks!

*just a reminder*

there are two ways too boot mfs or live iso

1.)Depending on your bios setup press F1, del, or what ever it says in the initial boot of your home computer.
and goto your boot options and have it boot a cdrom drive and the tivo drive only

2.) just remove the xp hardrive like you mentioned and use the MFS cd to boot your tivo drive

Good luck

Just restore a backup image to the Tivo drive. It will overwrite the signature placed there by WinXP.
