4 -4 Way splitters to 4 multiswitches.

Is it posssible to run the 4 leads from a triple LNB dish into 4 - 4 way splitters?

I purchased the 2.5 ghz splitters with the single power pass-through.
I also have 4 of the Bestway 5X16 Multiswitches. I would just cascade them but I need all 64 ports.

If possible, I assume that each of the 4 multiswitches would need a lead from each of the 4 power pass throughs. Am I on the right track here?

Yes, Just make sure that you are consistent when connecting the switches to the splitters. In other words, all outputs from one splitter go to the same input on each of the switches. And that the power pass side of the splitters go to the same switch.

Are you wiring up an apartment house? :)

And, before anyone else asks. This is the one case where splitters can be used on sat signals.

I'm a little confused about why all the power pass ports go to only one multiswitch? The other three multiswitches would not get a power pass port. Is that possible?
No this is not for an apartment - for a start-up.

And just to throw you another curve - what if we needed 6 switches. Can we take the last port of of each splitter to four more splitters? :confused:

It's not the multiswitches that require the power, but the upstream LNBs. We need to be consistent from where the power comes.

Using an output from the splitters to another splitter won't work. Remember, each of the splitters feed a particular input on the switches. What you would need to do is split all four outputs from one of your 4x4 splitters and feed additional switches that way. Remember to keep the outputs consistent.
