The other day I was in a store that sells all sorts of computer and video equipment, and lo' and behold, they were selling BLANK blu-ray discs.

Hello?

Since when are there ANY home-use recorders (or even business-use recorders) that use high def DVDs?

Have I missed something?

There are a few Blu-Ray recorders available for PCs, but they retail for $700+ and cost $500+ on discount internet sites. Plus the disks cost like $15 each.
