Season Pass Options

A couple of things I just thought up which would be pretty easy to implement (I think):

1) The ability to turn on or off season passes. This would be helpful for when your favorite shows (IE The Soprano's) goes away for the extended period of time, and you don't want to pick up off-season re-runs. I realize that you can just move the show further down your season pass manager, but in the day and age of dual tuners it is rare that the show won't get picked up occasionally.

2) Sports season passes. I already create specific auto record wishlists for sports events of my favorite teams, but this feature would be very helpful to people not quite as versed in wishlist creation.

Set the season pass of the Soprano's to record "First Run" only. This way you will not record repeats. :up:

Which only works in the guide data is accurate throughout the repeat season.


Annoyingly USA goes to "generic guide data" during reruns so I keep having to remove episodes of Monk and Psych from my ToDo list because USA doesn't provide enough information for TiVo to figure out if they are a First Run or a Repeat.

(Although that could be fixed with a setting called something like Known First Runs Only, or Confirmed First Run Only that would ignore episodes with generic guide data.)
