Copy drive and upgrade

I want to copy my stock Direct TV Tivo drive to a bigger drive (SEAGATE DB35 ST3400833ACE 400GB DRIVE). Then i want to put the smaller drive into a standalone (TCD240080) that has a failing drive (works but loud). What programs/software, cables/????? do i need?
