Urgent help. Never seen this screen before :-(

I went away for the weekend leaving my wife in charge of the TiVo and this is what happens!

It was unresponsive with a paused program and recording LED lit. No access through tivo web or telnet.

After rebooting this is what I got. I have a cachecard with SIMM fitted and large HDD.

My phone lead is not connected anymore, do I need to plug it in? What will it try to do?

Hiya. That's called the Green Screen of Death. It's similar to the BSoD that happens to PCs running Windows sometimes. Don't be too worries at this stage. Do as it says and leave it for a day or so. See what happens. It's basically got itself into a bit of bother and needs time to sort itself out.

If it successfully comes off this screen you'll probably find that your hacks library has gone.

Thanks, you were both correct. TiVo is back running and all my shows are intact.
My hacks are no longer working although the bash prompt is still available.

Yeah. You'll need to re-install them somehow. That directory must get wiped while it's sorting itself out.
