Ok, I started the thread...now you post. ;)

Oh, all right...
I was very surprised that Paulina went home...kinda expected it to be John, then when it was narrowed down to 2, expected it to be Shandi. I will miss Paulina's goofiness, she has a great sense of humor about herself.

I was a little surprised that a model and a beauty queen were the bottom 2...just for the fact that I thought guys watched the show. Apparently not as many as watch AI.

P.S. Thank goodness for Tivo! Holy cow!! If I'd had to watch 2 hours of recaps just to find out who won, I probably would have quit watching the show. Also love being able to FF through the singers, who have nothing to do with a dance show, so I've never understood why they're on. :down:

We TiVo and FF thru the non dancing stuff on the big night, then Tivo the results and FF until about 10 min left on the results show...

Yep, sounds like what I did, lol. So much filler in these...can't imagine how they get approval for so much wasted time, as I doubt that non-tivo'ers are watching those shows.

Paulina and Shandi were my bottom two. I really wanted Shandi to go home this week. :p

Right on there, Jib! A tip for producers, want higher ratings and more guys watching? When they show all the practices for the dances, don't forget to show some shower scenes too, thats part of getting ready.

OMG, lol. Speaking of behind the scenes...I actually like those clips so much more than the competition. ;0)

Frankly, after last season, I'm not really impressed with any of these people.

I was sorry to see Paulina go. She was much better than Leeza and Shandi. Paulina also had a great attitude and sense of humor.

Dunno, I think the only female celeb that 'gets' the Latin dances is Laila. Maybe Heather (!). The other women are too cautious. Bleah!

I really love Leila. She's a boxer and has that body & voice, yet she still comes across as feminine and sexy. That can't be easy to pull off.

Didn't they do the sexy Latin dances a lot later in the season in previous seasons? Perhaps the Celebs just haven't built up that comfort with their partners yet?

Frankly, after last season, I'm not really impressed with any of these people.

I suppose it was a cost-cutting move, but after getting us all spoiled by giving people extra prep time last season, it seems dumb to cut back on the prep time this season.
Of course we're not going to be impressed.
