I have 2 Humax 800 Tivos- which I l LOVE!
I just got one of the wireless adapters for the 2nd room machine. Do I also need to get one for the main room mahine so I can transfer back and forth?
I have broadband- and all our computers, tivos- etc- are hooked through it except the main room Tivo.
Thanks for help in advance!

Yes. Multi Room Viewing needs each Humax to have its own wireless adapter. Be sure to go into Manage My Account on the tivo website to permit the tivo's to talk to each other.

Samgray,
Not to run up the ole bills on you but do you know what wireless you have? 802.11b or 802.11g? I only ask as 802.11g is faster and will give you increased performance on transfering your video from room to room. Note: this is only true if you make sure that all your wireless products also have 802.11g cards/usb adaptors. I had 802.11g up and running in my house and then every so often when I was on my laptop up in the den I would go from 54MBPS down to 10MBPS and I couldn't figure it out for a long time. Then I learned why my surfing speed went down. My wife's laptop had a 802.11b wireless card and when she would turn it on everything else on the network would be brought down to the slower speed. Solution was that I bought here a new wireless card.

Anyway, I don't know if you are interested but now that you have your TIVO setup wirelessly as of yesterday TIVO and One True Media have setup their new software. I have created my One True Media account and I have loaded up some new video clips. I want to test it out to see if someone can download my video clip. If you are interested feel free to email me and I will give you my 16 digit code so you can pull down a video clip.

Regards,
GFS

Thanks for the info guys!
Off to buy another adapter!
To GFS- I think I have 802.11 G- not positive. I'm still playing with the whole wireless Tivo thing- so once I get it set, I'll let you know.
