Can every button on the S3 remote be "learned"?

I'd like to add Cable Box controls to the TiVo>2 side of the remote.

Possible? Or only AV features supported (pwr, vol, chan, etc.). I tried a few functions (like arrow up, dn, etc.) without success (10-blinks on the activity light when I choose the function to learn).

Any Suggestions?

No... just the buttons for power, input, volume, and mute. TiVo has the documentation online... why not go have a look (http://customersupport.tivo.com/Content/Instancy%20V2%20Folders/2988/TiVo%20Series3%20HD%20Viewers%20Guide%20-%20Settings.pdf).
