I really like the features in the new TiVo Desktop 2.4 Preview (running under Windows XP SP2), but it has one major problem --- it insists upon being run from an account with (full) Administrator privileges!!
I was able to 'finesse' version 2.3a into executing from a non-privileged account (after installing it with full privileges), but this workaround no longer works with the 2.4 Preview. It is really unacceptable, in this day and age, to require users to run programs such as this from a fully privileged account (which exposes your system to all sorts of security threats).
Please, please, please fix this for the final release of Desktop 2.4!!
