Is there a direct contact number for the Tivo community store? I wanted to place an order today but I have a few questions regarding stock and shipping. Under contact, I only see the online form to send an email. There is no direct phone number?

Three authorizations went through and they did not respond to my messages. I moved on to another, more receptive retailer.

That's not good to hear. I had a few pre-sale questions and no one got back to me. I didn't want to miss the $599 price so I went ahead and put in an order. I hope they reply to my emails. :(

There is this note at the bottom of the contact page -- "Please make sure TCStore@TiVoCommunity.com appears in your contact list so that our replies are not blocked by your spam filter."

Yeah, I added them. I got the form response to the email I submitted. I just hate that they did not reply to my pre-sale questions. I know a lot of people here ordered from them but my coworkers told me I'm a fool to order from a site that does not have a contact address or phone number. :(

That's odd... I wrote them a note a couple months back, and they got back to me within a day or two. Communication was decent.
I've placed 2 orders with them now, and they were both handled well. I agree they could be better, but I don't think you have to worry about them being some shady scam artists

I just got my S3 from the TC.com store.
No glitches, arrived in <5 days via DHL ground from Traverse City, MI to Southern NH.

Ahh, right. It did take TC.com a day to get the unit onto the truck:
Ordered 3/20
Shipped 3/21
Arrived 3/36 (the unit sat in DHL's local station on Sunday)

I called Cable Vision and I have an appointment for the install on Saturday. Any tips for the install to go smoothly?

For the record, I just checked and the number of inquiries the store has received this week and not yet answered is zero. :)

I got a response today. I asked a few questions and the reply only answered one. Since it shipped today I guess it's too late so I won't worry about it.

I contacted the TC Store yesterday via email and they replied promptly. Twice.

Yes. Make sure the installer follows the directions included with the Tivo to the letter. Get one card working first before trying the second card. Many installers just jam both cards in at the same time and that almost never works.
