I really did not like this episode. Aside from cripple tron. The other jokes were trying way too hard. That Maude bit reminded me of extremely low budget anime where they just have a static image and then animate the mouth area or eye area for 2 minutes of expository dialogue.

I really liked the episode. So many jokes in there! You almost have to take notes while you're watching to show so you can reiterate the jokes here. :)

I felt the Maude joke was intentional. It's like the people who complain that Family Guy always does these jokes that are basically you sitting there too long waiting for the repetitiveness to drop. Suddenly, Peter finds the humor of his own show to be unfunny. :p
