Off the top of my head, there's the one where the "camera" pans back from the top of Homer's head, passing over the city/state/planet/universe, right back to Homer's head, and he says "Wow". There's also the one where they run in, sit down, do nothing, and Lisa says "What? Can't we just sit here for once?"

I remember the first one now that you mention it. That was probably the only other couch gag that could really compare to this one. But for some reason the only other "speaking" gag I could remember off the top of my head had Freddy Krueger and Jason sitting on the couch saying, "I thought they would be here by now." Obviously, this was one of the Treehouse of Horror episodes.

I gotta start recording this again. Sounds like it's bringing in a little more quality this season than last.

I just wish there was a way that I could setup a wishlist for the reruns, but have it exclude anything after a certain year...
