I know the S3 does not support multi-room viewing, but I am looking for clarification. I assume from the forum posts I have read this means that content on the S3 can't be transferred off box to other Tivo Systems. What I want to know specifically is if you have an Series 2 Tivo on your home network, can the S3 pull content from the Series 2 via multi-room viewing?
Thanks.

When is Tivo going to get its act together and address stuff like this.... I love Tivo but they frustrate the living heck out of me....

As soon as they can implement it in a way that meets with Cable Labs approval. CEo has said that they are working on a solution real soon now.

Thanks. I routinely copy content from my series 2 to my series 3 via TIVO Desktop and my home network. Isn't that what you want to accomplish? I realize it takes some time to copy the programming but is that really a big deal?

Hmm. I'm dubious. A quick glance of hddude55's previous posts (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/search.php?do=finduser&userid=161779) show him to be a bit of an agent provocateur.
