I checked my season pass settings for Planet Earth this morning and it said there were no upcoming episodes.

Did a search by title and there are 61 on varying channels DiscoveryHD, Science and Discovery channels.

Deleted it and started over and it found the 61.

Might want to check your SP to make sure you are good to go. You wouldn't want to miss any of them.

Also there is one episode called "the future" that shows on the Science channel, but not on DiscoveryHD. I marked that one as well for recording.

Yes, the problem seems to be that they had two separate series codes in the Guide Data, and which particular showings you got depended upon which particular episode you got your Season Pass from. They now seem to have corrected it, so if you got your Season Pass from one of the episodes that was under the wrong series code, you will not record any episodes.

Here's the episode guide, to help make sense of it:

I also see eps in my Guide Data called "Ocean Deep, Ocean Wide" (not to be confused with "Deep Ocean") and "The Future," even those these aren't listed on the Discovery website. Not sure what that's all about.

I just noticed the same problem with a Planet Earth (Discovery HD) SP I setup last week. When I setup a new SP from the Showcase on Planet Earth and it found 57 episodes.

Thanks for the heads up. I will delete my old SP and do a new one. Hopefully that will solve the problem.

Had it set up on two DTivo (both DSR704). One last night decided not to record the 8pm showing of "Deserts" saying it was already in the to-do list for........

Other one picked it up just fine... Wierd.... Set it to record the 12:00 am re-broadcast...
