At least one of my Zippered DTivos has rebooted each of the past 2 Mondays and Thursdays at around 5:30 AM EST each time. I am assuming that this is the scheduled reboot and not a sign of the HD failing, but how can I be sure? The unit in question has 6.2a and the latest Tweak enhancement. I think I told it not to reboot during a scheduled recording. I did not notice the reboots until after DST. I usually work out in the morning and it is annoying to have the unit reboot because I have to get off the elliptical trainer to get the remote and restart whatever recording I was watching. If these are schedules reboots, how can I change it so it does not reboot while I am watching?

Thanks.

Yep, sure enough those are the scheduled reboots. You can go into cron and change the times. I've got one of mine doing the reboots on Tuesdays and Fridays, and another one that does it at 11:20 on Monday and Thursday mornings. If you check I think you will find that yours are doing it on 20 after the hour and not half past.

To edit cron type "root" at bash (no quotes). But first be sure to make things read-write by typing "rw". Then when you're done do "ro" for read only.
