Vista question: Is it possible to upload

I am thinking about upgrading to Vista (no comments needed) and was wondering it it is possible to upload videos (home made) from my PC to my DirectTIVO. I tried this once a while ago using tivoserver but it failed during the upload of the video. Does anyone have a suggestion?

I haven't seen vista in action but I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't work.

there are issues with vista and cygwin... not sure if they've been fixed or not
