Multiple STB's

I have an NTL cable STB which passes through analogue stations on RF. When analogue ends can I add a freeview STB and have the Tivo control both so I can record from cable or freeview whilst viewing the other? :)

Yes, its called a "dual source" setup :

The options currently limit you to sky + freeview,
but you can use cable and freeview if you remap the channel numbers (a bit messy).

[edit] just saw you mentioned viewing from one while recording another...

Thats possible, but you'd have to be very careful about channel changes with your STB remotes and carefully keep track of which box tivo is recording from,
