Is skip-to-tic not available when watching the 30-minute buffer? An annoying oversight!

are you in a FF or RW mode when trying it? I have not used skip to tick on a live buffer so can not say for sure but I do know you have to be in FF or RW for skipo to tic to work. Plus enabling 30 sec skip turns off skip to tic as well.

No, skip-to-tic is not available in live buffer. There's only at most one tic anyway. You can navigate to beginning or end of live buffer easily.

Oh shoot - 30 sec skip turns off the skip to end or begining, not the skip to tic.
That would be what it does for all models that have the feature.

Skip to tick on 30 sec. skip is not turned off in 2x FF or reverse.

In any case I noticed this and despite the limited ticks in the live buffer, I still think it should be supported. This is a bad oversight.

No, skip-to-tic is not available in live buffer. There's only at most one tic anyway. You can navigate to beginning or end of live buffer easily.
Not true: for half of the time there are two tic marks in the buffer, just as with a recorded 30-minute show.
Navigating merely to the beginning & end leaves an excruciating wait to get where one wants, even at 3x FF (average of 15 sec.).
