I read about the DNS problems regarding NPL. All of the sudden last nite the NPL and MRV's are very slow between Tivos. All upgraded to 6.2a, been working fine. Noticed all my DNS is set to the 4.2.2.2, anyone else having any similar problems?

Set the DNS server to a real one or 0.0.0.0 to make it work correctly.

Ok thats what I'm going to do then. Weird thing is using TivoWebPlus, NetConfig option, only 2 out of my 4 tivos take the change the others revert back to the 4.2.2.2. Any advice?

Mine started acting slow over the past couple days also. I'm working on it as I get time to see what's up.

Are you using the 4.2.2.2 DNS?

Yes. I haven't spent any time on it yet, either....

Any one know another way to change the DNS settings other than TWP? I also edited the resolv.conf and rebooted and it was back to the 4.2.2.2. Once I edit the file is there anything else I need to do before I reboot? Thanks!

ok so do an rw at the prompt and then editing the resolv.conf? I think I did that but I'll try again. Do I need to turn back to ro and do a sync before I reboot?
