For sticklers who like to begin with the first episode, these two shows are about to reset.

Spike will air Star Trek: The Next Generation M-F, 9-10am ET beginning this Monday (3/19) with the first half of the 2hr pilot. Episodes from later seasons are shown in the afternoon, so you'd want to set a manual recording.

Meanwhile, Sex and the City on TBS will restart on 3/27 with two episodes airing every Tuesday at 9pm and again at 11pm.

I do something similar for episodes of Stargate SG1 because I've never seen them. Sci-Fi has been airing one-day marathons of this series I think once a week. My wife and I just finished season 1 last night.

I'd recommend a normal season pass, but just go in once a week and remove future/planned recordings of new/later episodes.
