My Humax TiVo has a harddrive about to die I think. I have restarted it a couple of times, but it still stutters and freezes for a sec and then plays for a little while and does it again. I think the HDD I put in it during the upgrade is too slow anyway, as it seems sometimes to be way slow. Is there anything I can do to save the shows and settings I have on this one and transfer it to a new drive? If so, what drive is recommended? I don't have a need to go super size, but 160 to 200 GB should suffice.
