I know I can turn a wishlist into an qutorecording one by clicking on the yellow dot next to the wishlist in UI.Wishlists
BUT
How do I STOP an autorecording wishlist being one (being an autorecording one, that is)??
Thanks

By using the menus on the Tivo box itself I imagine. A bit like that is still the only way to create a wishlist in the first place ;) :(

You can create a wishlist via the search module of tivowebplus :)

Are we talking TivoWebPlus 1.3.1 or TivoWebPlus 2.0. Have TWP 1.3.1 installed here but almost never use it and mainly use TW 1.9.4

I've just checked 2.0, 1.2.1 and 1.9.4
It's there in all of them

Here it is in 1.9.4
For 1.9.4 it's one of my add on modules (downloadable from here (http://www.ljay.org.uk/tivoweb/tivoweb.html)). In the newer versions it was incorporated as standard.
@PhilG: if you delete the seasonpass in TivoWeb for an autorecording WishList it turns back into a non-autorecording WishList.

LJ,
Do you consider there to be any functionality of your own TivoWeb 1.9.4 modules which is not now available under TivoWebPlus 2.0?
If so which modules or functions are those?

That only seems to be an option to Seach for a program by Title Keword etc. I don't find any functions in the resulting modules to set up an Auto-Record Wishlist?
Ah have just spotted the "Add Wishlist" button alongside Search. Never noticed this before as I had always only considered this to be the Search module, so I wan't expecting there to be a Wishlist function there.
Then you also have to go in to User Interface/Wishlists afterwards to set it up to Auto record. But you can do everything you can do on the Tivo regarding Wislists it turns out..........

So it does - well THAT wasn't intuitive!!

Any particular reason that you are no longer following this kind of stuff, given that TWP 2.0 in general aims to remedy and eliminate the memory overflow reboot errors associated with TWP 1.9.4
What do you use to record your tv programs these days? Have you moved on to Windows MCE and Xbox or quite what exactly?
Or do you find simply that your Tivoweb modules have reached a state of perfection for your own needs so there is no need to enhance them any further. ;) :p
Or are you perhaps now busy with a wife, girlfriend, children, hectic job or whatever else is now taking up all the free time that you used to devote to developing Tivoweb modules?

LJ - Hello!
I'm an enthusiastic user of your stuff, and just wanted you to know that I really appreciate you 'de-cloaking' and showing your interest is still alive.
While you may be bombarded with 'wish lists' or questions, I thought you might appreciate knowing that there are lurkers who use your code daily.
Many hat tips to you, Sir. :)

Those errors are non existent for most people, with more moderate Now Playing lists than you!
Pete, TiVo is definitely still king in this house! - no MCE or Xbox (PS2 and Wii for gaming). When I see an error in TW I just exit it, telnet to the TiVo and start it up again. I guess I use TW less than I used to so it's not a major issue. Still have ideas about enhancements, but most of the time the benefits don't seem worth the effort. Do still make changes as you can see from the lists above. I believe most of the work on TWP was designed to get it to work with two tuners / newer versions of software, which we don't have on this side of the pond. :(
Colin, thanks, always nice to be appreciated. :) :) :)

Many hat tips to your great works also in this quarter LJ.
Not only are the modules great but your website is also a masterpiece of clarity and ease of use that some rather less accessible Tivo enthusiasts such as Mr Hinsdale could do well to take lessons from. ;)
Like you I simply live with the fact that sooner or later Tivoweb use will require a complete machine reboot to keep functioning.
What would be the pluses and minuses of scheduling a daily or even thrice weekly Tivo reboot into crontab? If the reboot took place during the indexing phase of a daily call download could the results potentially be terminal and require full Tivo software reinstallation?
Shouldn't need to reboot the TiVo - a Quit and a reload of TW should do the trick. TiVo should be able to cope with reboots but it's probably not a good idea to keep at it!
