Retrieving Tivo Desktop upgrade key

I recently reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled Tivo Desktop. I'd bought the upgrade in the past, but I don't remember the activation key and can't figure out how to retrieve it. Is there a way to get that activation key so I don't have to drop another 25 bucks to get a new one? Thanks!

I've uninstalled and reinstalled Tivo desktop 2.3a twice since I've upgraded it. I've never needed the key when I've reinstalled.

Open Tivo Desktop and click on 'help' and then on 'upgrade to Tivo desktop plus' and it should tell you that you have already upgraded.

He didn't just uninstall/reinstall ... he formatted the drive. The Plus key is in the registry which doesn't exist for him anymore.

You should be able to call TiVo and have them tell you your key.

I lost my Plus Key information.

If you purchased your TiVo Plus Key after 3/25/2010, you can easily retrieve it by logging into My Account and checking your Order History for your key information.

If you purchased your TiVo Plus Key prior to 3/25/2010, please call TiVo Customer Supportfor assistance retrieving your Plus license number.

I lost my key info recently. Switched computers.
I had boughten it a while ago, even TiVo didn't have it on file. So I had to buy a new one and they just refunded the $25
