View Full Version : Tivo and Comcast - No picture/changing channels

I think this is a known problem. There was some talk about it on the TIVO message board, but there were no solutions presented.

I have Comcast service. Every once in a while I will get the banner of program information at the bottom of the screen, but no picture. The box will then fly through the channels on its own, almost like it is looking for a channel that works. It usually finds the QVC channels or one of the spanish channels and stops. During all of this, the other TV's in the house, which are connected to Comcast, are fine. After a few hours (sometimes longer) everything is fine again.

If anyone knows what is causing this, I would appreciate it.
