View Full Version : I haven't dialed with my series1 and now it wont work

After a few years of not dialing in I finally decided to dial in with my Series 1 TIVO (unsusbscribed)
I dialed using the same number that works on my other TIVO's.
It seems to work and I even hear the screech when I pick up the
telephone like, but I get the message that there is no service.
Does this mean that it won't connect because my TIVO is unsuscribed. If so
I'm surprised because I though It could still dial in to reset the time.
Or does it man that I have to dial a special Number?

Please help?

Do you have the tivo wait for a dial tone?

Series 1 are prone to bad modems.

Did you try to select phone troubleshoot - make a test call? That may work.

What does this part mean?

No service?

No TiVo service?

No telephone service?

What do you mean?
