Hi,

I have a weird question, I know, but if I wanted 4,5,6 Direct TV Tivo do I need 4,5,6 satellite dishes or only 1??

No, only 1 dish, you would just need a multiswitch with the appropriate number of outputs.

Here's an example of a 4x8, which could drive 8 regular receivers, or 4 dual tuner Directivos. They make bigger ones too. This one is for the Phase III dish, if you have one of the newer Ka/Ku-band dishes, you'll need a different model.

EDIT: In looking at that again, that one may indeed work with the Ka/Ku dish afterall.
