A few years back, TiVo Showcase offered movie recommendations which they update every couple weeks. They also had HBO, FLIX and Showtime Showcases that made finding new movie listings for the month, quick and easy. I recorded and watched a lot more movies back then. Ever since TiVo dropped all of these Showcases I have not found a good substitute for finding premium or uninterrupted movies. I sort of doubt TiVo will offer a Showcase without the potential profit, from the looks of it these days. There has to be an easier way then searching the entire guide to find new movie listing for the month.

you can filter the guide for just movies.

I have made wishlists in the past with just the year and category movies to find more current movies.

I hear ya. I really want to be able to do the following Wishlist, but can't:

All MOVIES that are in HD that are rated THREE STARS or greater from 1980 or later.

I have created a few TiVo Wishlist(s) that specify Movies & 2005, Movies & 2006, Movie> [Genre] & 200* keywords for newer movies. This seems to work fine on the S2 and the S2DT, but still time consuming when searching just for premium movies. Now with the S3, I really want to find uninterrupted & unedited movies, preferably in HDTV. The S3 seems to be slower searching with these same Wishlists than with my other TiVos.

The other option is tag the premium channels as favorites and ‘search by time’ specifying favorites. This is close, but it lists show and movie with duplicates in a timeline. Just paging through a couple days using this method takes forever. No good.

Now, if you could just specify a Wishlist to only search channels you have marked as favorites I would be happy.

I agree, being able to keyword search on HDTV would be great. I remember TiVoPony saying that was a request they personally made to the developers.
