Please only answer if you have a Series 1 and it isn't unsubbed.
I'm answering 0 for when my Series 1 TiVos weren't loaned out.
edit: Whoops, I just realized I should clarify. In case people didn't realize, I meant to ask how many manual recordings you have in your season pass manager, NOT how many are in the Now Playing List.
I use my series 1 ONLY to record CNBC. I'm in the process of getting ready to unsub my S1, so thats why I have so many manual recordings.
I use my S3's for entertainment, and yes, my cable cards are fine.

Ironically, I just found a need for a manual recording after this whole debacle started. There's a "Local Origination" cable channel that simulcasts a radio program I like, and since there's no guide data the only way to catch it is with a manual recording.

I undid all my news manual records {in the 6-10 range}and at least the last 2 mornings I’ve enjoyed surfing around for my allotted 15 minutes of coffee drinking and news gathering and watching different stuff. I went through and set some individual shows that I had on the recurring manual and next week I’m sure I’ll take the time to do the same. When it corrects in a few weeks I’ll lock in a new manual recurring schedule and perhaps consider how it will shift in the fall and maybe I can make 50% of them still catch something relevant.

I finally gave up using a manual 1 hour manual SP (with 1 minute of padding on each end) for "The Daily Show Problem" [and also getting the Colbert Report, and not having the damn split in the middle of their conversation or the Moment of Zen] when I got my S3.. I use a regular SP for each, with 1 minute end pad on DS, and 1 min pre and post pad on Colbert.
But I do still use a manual SP for World News Now, which runs over 2 hours a night, but really only has 1:30 of new material.. (and I don't usually care about the first half of each half hour, so I do a 1:15 manual SP).

I sometimes use Manual Recordings when I am recording a long sports event like the day-long horse racing broadcasts on Breeder's Cup day, and am short on hard drive space. I record in 30-minute chunks which allows me to watch the start of the show and then delete it, freeing up space to record later in the day. This makes it possible to watch behind live without someone changing the channel and dumping the buffer.
I used to have three 5-minute Manual Recordings to toggle the tuner to the start of the local news on the stations we like to watch. One for the 7 AM local news Mon-Friday, one for the 11 PM local news, and one for the 7 AM local news on Saturday (different station than the M-F).
I've deleted those Manual Recordings during the faux-DST period, so the actual answer right now is "0".
For the purposes of the poll, the OP probably wanted to know how many I would have in the SP manager on an ordinary day, so I answered "1-5" for the ones that caught the news.

I use it to record Jim Cramer's Mad Money at 6pm weekdays. BooYah!
A regular Season Pass gets every re-broadcast 3 or 4 times per day, even if the SP is set to "only first-runs".
Why can't "First Run" only get the 6pm showing, and not the 9pm, 12am, and 3am rebroadcasts of the same show?

I record 5 minutes off one of the news channels first thing in the morning, before the Kids shows start taping. We had an episode of "The Wiggles" a while back with a few seconds of something very adult off one of the HBO's at the very start of it. So now, at worst, they have a few seconds of Geraldo Rivera.
