Can I get the digital channels using the Pioneer 810? I now use a cable box to get the digital channels (HBO, ect. Using the Pioneer 810 will only pick up the bottom channels up to 78, is there a setting or up grade. I only have basic if I upgrade will that give me the ability to receive all of the other channels?

Can I eliminate the cable box and still set up the Tivo Pioneer DVR to receive the digital channels?

I believe you need to re-run guided setup and select that your source is now a cable box.

Just re-run guided setup. There is no need to subscribe to Plus to use a cable or satellite box.
