has anybody else noticed lately since 6.3 updates that their tuners are noticably slowing down when changing channels. Sometimes mine is taking 3-5 seconds to change channels. Getting very, very annoying. :mad:

Not noticing a slowdown with 6.3c here.

I haven't seen a slowdown since 6.3 was installed. However, I do get a message that there isn't a signal everytime. It's real fast but it's there.

yeah, these HD dvrs are way slower than the non-HD dvrs. :(

i've notice things like menu speeds with the now play and todo lists are slower

No slowdowns noticed with my HR10-250 with 6.3c.

No slowdowns for me either. Exactly the opposite. Channel changes and menu speeds are much faster.

Guide is faster. However seeing slower channel change here from day one with c. The to-do list is also sluggish. Seems to get slower over time. Planning a return to 3.1.5 soon with drive upgrade.

This occurs because the system is too fast. The tuner hasn't yet tuned to the new channel, but the operating system sees this as no signal. I don't see it with 6.3c, except OTA.

This is one of the symptoms I was experienicing along with constant lockups ans stuttering once I upgraded to 6.3. It's most likely related to the channels your system is tuned into. If you change the channel on both tunners you will most likely be back to normal. if you let it run long enough like that, it will mostly likely either lockup or reboot.

Or go back to 3.1.5f like i did and bypass the "Upgrade" altogether.
