10-250 ignoring channel list checked

Mine no longer skips the channels left unchecked in the list. Has this got anything to do with no phone line connection?

If I bring up the Guide, it does not show the unchecked channels.

However, if I step through the channels using channel up in live tv, all channels are shown.

As far as I can remember, this is the way it has always worked. Since I almost never watch live tv, it doesn't bother me at all.

Also, remember that each time it updates the software (6.3, 6.3a, 6.3b, 6.3c), the channel list returns to all channels checked.

When you bring up the guide, what filter is shown at the bottom? I suspect it says "All Channels". You need to press Enter to select the other display options. In your case select Channels You Receive.
