(insert anti - right wing policital joke here)
That is probably an issue with your afiiliate.
Are you listening to digital sound directly from OTA channel?
Have you tried listening to analog sound?

Doublespeak - "Deliberately ambiguous or evasive language; any language that pretends to communicate but actually does not."

doublethink - Reality Control. The power to hold two completely contradictory beliefs in one's mind simultaneously, and accept both of them.

How do you have audio from the HR10-250 hooked up?

Directly to TV with RCA red/white,
or RCA red/white into surround sound amp,
or optical into surround sound amp,
or any combination of the above?

How in the world would this be relevant????? Or of any help?

I noticed problems starter back during baseball playoffs and World Series, audio drop out. then at some point "hickups or double speak" not sure when upgrades are / were done, b or c, so will ther be a "d"?

I've had the same problem for about a year now. Only on Fox 88. I'm connected via HDMI right now but I've tried optical. I've even switched HR10-250's and its happening on the new one too.

I've seen a few others post about the same problem but AFAIK no one has a fix or explaination as to why it only affects some of us.

I have been having a problem with Fox, mostly Fox News Channel, for about a year I get frame Freeze and double speak or the audeo disappears altogether it has been driving me crazy. My wife thinks it a vast left wing conspiracy, but Ithink Fox is too cheap to buy good equipment. I have tried a signal booster which helps a little but also I have bypassed my entire setup and gone directly from the cable feed into my TV which is much better but you can still see the hit in transmission onch in a while.

I've had the same problem for about a year now. Only on Fox 88. I'm connected via HDMI right now but I've tried optical.I'm connected via DVI (to a Sammy DLP). I've had intermittent vocal stuttering -- on Fox88 only -- for only a month or so. It's interesting that there's no disruption of music, which is usually handled separately at the source.

Note: stuttering, not doublespeak -- although the latter is way funnier.
