This may have been discussed before but I can't find it.
So here is what is happening, any help on what is going on would be appreciated.
about 10% of the time on Season Pass recordings, I go to watch and it says 0 minutes recorded. So I started watching for it to happen and noticed that the channel is grey screen on just that tuner. So I stop the recording and I change the channel up or down on and back and I have get it back. Fine if I am there to catch it but burns me up when I miss a show.
I have called DTV for the past six months about this issue, at first they were not sure kept having me unplug and reboot the machine ( have done this more than 5 times ) after a couple months I started hearing that they new about the problem and was working on a fix, so after several months of hearing that I am told that 6.3c will fix this problem. Guess what? It didn't so I call back 2 different times and talk to 2 different reps and all of sudden they have never heard of this issue now and the only thing they can recommend is to do a hard reboot where I lose everything. I will need to transfer quite a bit to DVD before I can do this. But I wanted to see if anyone else here has run into this problem and gotten if figured out yet.
