Peanut Remote causing freeze up?

Most recently my HR10-250 has taken to freezing up when there is a lot of activity with the remote...ex; scrolling up and down thru the guide at a rapid rate. The only fix is a reboot. What does this sound like?

Another remote in the room with a stuck button,
another remote stuck between couch cushions (causing a button to be pressed),
compact fluorescent lighting or even a plasma TV.
